Enno Cheng Daughters

Daughters is a concert stage design centred on the theme of communication. The main stage carries four layers of square LED screens, each 6 by 6 metres and divided into eight panels of 3 by 6 metres. The screens open, close, stretch and overlap, and they move vertically and horizontally to suit each segment. Traditional LED panels were selected instead of transparent ones for clearer light and shadow effects. Text, body language, sound and symbols are combined on stage to show how messages can pass beyond language barriers. The concert was held in Taipei in August 2022.

Thorn Lighting transforms nature's sharpest form, the thorn, into a modern design object that embodies the balance between hard and soft, light and shadow. Inspired by nature's metamorphosis, this lighting symbolizes strength, resilience and spiritual growth through adversity. The design blends raw, organic edges with industrial lines, reflecting the beauty and hope found in challenges. A cinematic experience was created using Houdini, Redshift, and advanced simulation techniques to visually represent this transformation, blending the wild spirit of nature with modern aesthetics.

Worn like a watch, Lens’ AR features are available when needed, unobtrusive and always ready. Designed to be held like a traditional monocular, it unveils a new world with augmented content: identify creatures, explore new trails, or uncover constellations. Lens seamlessly merges the nostalgia of optical discovery with the thrill of modern exploration.

Electronic Gems AI Clip

Electronic Gems AI Clip is an open wearable stereo earphone that combines jewelry craftsmanship with acoustic and artificial intelligence technology. The clip-on earpiece uses a copper acoustic chamber plated with 18K white gold and set with gemstones such as meteorite, zircon, tiger's eye, opal and obsidian. A 13mm dynamic driver and air conduction technology deliver sound without closing the ear canal. Integrated voice assistants support real-time translation, conversation and meeting transcription. A touch panel and a dedicated app control playback and sound tuning.

The project was made to show all the features of the product in a creative way. Being a informative but without being annoying. The purpose was to show how comfortable the product is. Art inspired by paintings and classical works carries with it a deep connection with the target audience. Taking inspiration from great works of painting is a gesture of reverence for tradition, while at the same time seeking to innovate.

Nomad

Nomad is a science fiction animated short film about the future of the Amazon rainforest. The film shows a moving city that can carry Amazonian tribes to new habitable areas when a location can no longer support human life. The machines in Nomad keep a mechanical structure but are built mainly from natural materials instead of metal. This nature inspired approach avoids the coldness of traditional machinery and gives the city a sense of vitality. Sketches and storyboards were made first, followed by modeling, animation, rendering and compositing. Motion capture was used for the characters.
